David Dew

David Dew is responsible for the performance of HSBC Amanah globally and for all administrative matters relating to the Global Banking and Markets business in the Middle East and North Africa region.

Prior to his current post, David served as Chief Operating Officer for HSBC Bank USA and Chief Auditor for HSBC North America. Prior to that he served as Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Saudi British Bank and previously held senior posts with HSBC in Singapore, Italy and Dubai.

David received his MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge in the UK. He joined HSBC in 1977.

David resides in Dubai.
