Robert McCuaig

Chairman and Independent Director, AREIT Management Limited

Robert is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and is Chairman of the Advisory Board of Colliers International Holdings (Australia) Limited.

Robert was the founder of McCuaig & Co in 1967, then with David Collier in McCuaig & Collier, which in 1988 became the New South Wales (Australia) office of Colliers International, a property services company which specialises in advice, marketing and management of office, industrial, hotel, retail and residential property.

He was a forerunner in the establishment of Colliers on a global basis, now a leading worldwide professional property services group, with 248 offices throughout Australia and the Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, the Americas and Africa.

He has acted as property advisor to The University of Sydney, Westpac, Qantas Airways, Sydney Port Authority, Benevolent Society of NSW, the State of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia.

Robert is currently an independent director of Multiplex Capital Limited, St Vincents and Mater Health, Sydney.

He is a past chairman of Principal America Office Trust, an independent director of Bunnings Warehouse Property Trust and deputy chairman of the Sydney Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Robert resides in Sydney, however, spends a considerable amount of time overseas on property related matters.
