Stephen holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree and a Master of Business (Banking and Finance) from the University of Technology, Sydney. Stephen is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, a senior associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and a member of the Institute of Company Directors in Australia.Stephen holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree and a Master of Business (Banking and Finance) from the University of Technology, Sydney. Stephen is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, a senior associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and a member of the Institute of Company Directors in Australia. Stephen has over 28 years experience in Investment Banking, Chartered Accounting and Real Estate, that includes project and structured finance, financial advisory services, listed and unlisted equity funds, private equity and property investment, including acquisition, due diligence, post acquisition, private placements and asset realisation.

Stephen founded AREIT in 2005, and is responsible for building the business into one of the leading real estate investment entities in the Middle East with over USD 200 million of funds under management. Stephen has 17 years experience in the Middle East having been instrumental in the establishment of the Investment Banking business for the Saudi British Bank (40% owned by HSBC), acting as Director and Regional Head for ANZ Investment Bank and a Placement Principal with Investcorp Bank B.S.C.

Stephen resides in Riyadh and Dubai.
